My first day in Taiwan 19/4/2011

I was so excited early in the morning as this is the first time I'm travelling to a country as far as Taiwan. The tour group bus came to pick us up at 5.45am and off we go to LCCT to board the Air Asia X. In the airport, I met many of my tour members which are mostly uncles and aunties. However, I'm not the youngest as I thought i would be. There are 2 people younger than me and both also travel with parents. We boarded our plane without any problem and reached Taoyuan airport at 3.40pm.

There, we met our Taiwan tour guide and our first destination is Taipei 101. As time is limited, I did not go up the tower. I just walked around in the shopping centre and ate a bowl of taufu fa with peanut. This bowl of taufu fa cost 40 yuan which is around RM4



After that, we walked around a while more before assembling at the place we were supposed to wait for our tour bus. I actually took a photo of the name of the exit we were supposed to wait as to avoid waiting at the wrong place.




It was outside Taipei 101 and the wind was so strong and cold. We waited in the cold for 10-15 minutes before our bus came.

Next, we went to Shilin Night market. I bought some food that was not/rarely seen or heard in Malaysia.



After that, we went to the 1st hotel of our trip- Atami Hotel.
