Growing Through Life 摘星之旅

I just finished watching Growing Through Life yesterday and I love this show very much. I already start missing this show as I rushed back to watch this show every night, but now that it has ended, I feel like I don’t have something to look forward to. However, this show's rating was not so good in Hong Kong but no matter what, I still enjoyed watching this show because I'm Raymond's fan.

Of course the main thing I like this show is because Raymond Lam is in it. When I started watching, I was thinking that it will be better if the female leads are TVB actress but after watching, I find that Zhao Ziqi is a very cute actress and she brought the character ‘Fong Lai Keng’ out well. Most of the time, I look forward to her screen time with Raymond and I find both of them make a very compatible pair in this show as Raymond’s character has a bad temper at the beginning and he is always prejudice to her because she was a ‘spy’ for his uncle in Raymond’s factory. But slowly, the girl starts to have feelings for him and she did many things for him and slowly, he also starts to like her and from there onwards, can see that Ray’s character became happier and smile more.

I especially find the part funny where Lai Keng asked to break up and Raymond answered “huh?? We didn’t even started”.. haha..

I also need to mention Bosco Wong here. He's a villain here and at the beginning, he's a very nice guy but he turns evil when he feels that he's smarter than his best friend, Raymond and yet, Raymond is the one who gets all the praises when in actual, he's the one who gives most of the ideas. At the beginning when Bosco turns evil, I still did not hate him but when he starts to kill some of the people, I'm beginning to dislike him. And I also dislike another character here, which is Yiu Kwan. I find her character to be very annoying and I think she should go and see a physchiatrist because she seems not very stable..

Overall, I recommend this show to Raymond’s fans. I also hope that he will get best actor for this show.
