Sweetness in the Salt has ended. . Overall, I feel this story is a sweet and sad story.. like what my friend said ‘bitter’. But it does have a kind of happy ending.
However, as usual, there are things that I like and dislike in this drama.
The things I like or I find it funny:
1. As per my previous post, I only realized Raymond Wong is cute after he acted as the Teng Hin character. I saw him before in the drama ‘When a dog loves a cat’ and didn’t really like him in there. But, I feel he’s very outstanding as the sickly but smart Teng Hin in here. He also has chemistry with Tavia here.
2. The way Teng Hin protected Sheng Suet when he knew that she’s actually the daughter of the salt smugglers.
3. How Teng Hin always calmed his father when something bad happened.
The things that I dislike:
1. Why Teng Hin has to die .. why? Why?? He’s already cured from his sickness but the director must killed of his character by him being killed by the officer To. I prefer Seng Suet to be with him as she also loves him.. but before Teng Hin die, he wants to pair her with Chi Yuen (Steven Ma). And although Seng Suet and Teng Hin likes each other, there’s no kiss or hug.. not even holding hands..
2. Although I prefer Seng Suet with Teng Hin, but after he died and Seng Suet married Chi Yuen, I find it very sad that they still have to go separate ways for 2 years after he told her the truth about her parent’s death. But luckily, the ending is Seng Suet met Chi Yuen in a cave. At least, she smiled and the show ended after that. So, we as viewers, can assume that they are happy to see each other after so long and maybe got back together after that. But in real life, where can be so coincidence one?? The girl hid in a snowy mountain and the guy also did the same thing.. huh?? At the same mountain somemore..
I realized that the whole post here is mostly about Teng Hin only… I hope Raymond (Teng Hin) will get to act in another good show after this as he doesn’t seem to appear in many TVB dramas.
