University’s memories

Yesterday, I was driving in town when I saw this motorcyclist and his passenger friend. His friend’s leg was hanging as there was no place to put his leg (Not sure what it is called but here, I will name it as pedal). I’m not sure whether the pedals were missing or he just enjoyed doing that.

I was chuckling to myself when I saw him as this reminds me of the same thing I have done during my university life.

On that day, my friend’s motor was just sent from her hometown. We decided to play badminton in our university sports complex and she will fetch me. She had started her motor and when I went up, I realized that there were no place for me to put my leg but before I managed to tell her that, she already started the journey. So, I just kept quiet behind and my leg was hanging all the while. My leg touched the ground everytime we turned.

When we reached our university and was on the way to the complex, another motor was following behind us and we know that they are the uni’s officer. We got a bit worried because we thought that maybe they were going to scold us for wearing shorts. When the motor overtook us, the officer turned to me and asked me ‘kali pertama naik motor kah?’.

My friend only realized what happened and laughed all the way to the complex. It so happened that the pedal was lifted up during it’s journey from my friend’s hometown to the place we were staying that time. We really had a good laugh once we reached the sports complex with the others
