TVB Drama- The Four Constables

Just finished watching the last episode of ‘The four constables’ on Astro. It’s called ‘sei tai meng pou’ in Cantonese. I have to use hanyu pinyin as I can’t write Chinese.. only know a bit but another bad thing is my pc do not have Chinese words software or maybe I cant find the way to install it.

Ok, back to the show. It’s a good show and it has the 4 heroes in there.. all are young tvb actors- Raymond Lam as Mou Ching, Ron Ng as Lang Huet, Kenneth Ma as Tit Sau and Sammul Chan as Zhui Ming.

All of them have different characters but makes a good team..Mou Ching has no feelings for others, and at the beginning, he’s kind of arrogant to the others. Lang Huet is Cold Blood, and he can stand the pain although he’s hurt with knifes and arrows. Tit Sau is very righteous and gentleman. Zhui Ming is very cheeky and he’s a conman at the beginning. All of them work for Chu Kot Ching Ngo and help him to investigate cases. I kind of enjoy the cases they investigate at the beginning of the drama but towards the end, it’s more to how the Prime Minister of Song Dynasty tries to dethrone the King. But I just don’t understand why the King do not learn kung fu as he should know that there will be many people interested at his throne. Of course if the King knows kung fu, there will be no ‘the four constable’.. haha

One thing that I’m not satisfied is that all the heroes do not get to be with their girls.. all the girls left the guys at the end. I pitied Mou Ching as he was lied to and betrayed by the girl he loves again and again. Ron is very cool as Lang Huet and he rarely talks in the show except towards the middle and end. Too bad, if he talks more and earlier to the girl who has a crush on him, he will have get the girl and the girl will not become a monk in the temple.

Overall, I still enjoy this drama as it has two of my favourite actors – Raymond and Ron. I hope that there will be a part 2 as the ending of part 1 seems like hanging.
